What's new in the Vicon DataStream SDK?

Vicon Datastream SDK 1.10 improves on the functionality of 1.9 with the addition of the ability to use Python.

Updated plugins for Unity and Unreal engines are also available from the Vicon website.

Source code for the DataStream SDK is provided and is licensed under an MIT license agreement.

New features of Vicon DataStream SDK 1.10

This release includes the following new feature.

Addition of a Python SDK

The Datastream client has been extended to include an SDK for Python 2.7 and 3.7. For  information on how to use the Python SDK, see the Vicon DataStream SDK Quick Start Guide for Python.

MATLAB support changed to use .NET 
Native MATLAB integration has been replaced by .NET as Mathsworks support the use of .NET directly in MATLAB.
To make use of Datastream SDK 1.10, update legacy MATLAB scripts to .NET.
To continue using native MATLAB integration, refer to support in Datastream SDK 1.9. 

Addressed issues and changes in Vicon DataStream SDK 1.10

  • Subject filter now applies filter correctly to retiming client.
