About the System tab

You manage the components of your Vicon system on the System tab. The System tab may contain the following components:

Component Description
System configuration management You create, save, and manage configurations for the settings in the System Resources pane using the configuration management controls at the top of the pane.
System list

You select the node for the system component you want to configure in the System list:

  • Local Vicon System The Vicon system capture rate and the Tracker memory buffer size; real-time processing settings; and the identification and connection settings for the Tracker host PC.
  • Vicon Cameras The identification and configuration settings for each Vicon camera connected to your Vicon system.
  • Vicon Connectivity The identification and configuration settings for each Vicon Lock attached to your Tracker system.
  • DevicesThe identification and configuration settings for any analog or digital devices integrated into your Vicon system.

You can perform commands specific to a type of system component node or sub-node by right-clicking on a node in the System list and selecting a command from the displayed context menu.

You view or modify system components in the Properties pane. The properties displayed depend upon the node selected in the System list.
