Introducing Vicon IR lights

Vicon IR light is an illuminator designed to be powered by PoE.

The light is supplied with a Category 5 (Cat 5) cable for PoE connection and a Cat 5 RJ45 adapter.

The signal cable of the light is an RCA cable, for connection to a Vicon Lock.

Both cables are permanently fitted to the light. Extension solutions for both may be required for installation.

Box contents

Ensure you have received these components:

  • Vicon IR lights fitted with a fixed 120° x 120>° beam angle lens, and mounting bracket
  • Cat 5 RJ45 adapter

Accessories ( optional )

  • Superclamp (Vicon part no. 5700008) and stud (Vicon part no. 5700011)

Default setup

Vicon IR lights are supplied with these default settings:

  • 120° beam angle
  • Status LED – ON

When power and signal connection are established, the illuminating (IR) LEDs turn on.
