Mount the Vanguard cameras and any optical cameras

Mount the Vicon Vanguard cameras and any optical cameras to ensure coverage and overlap of the tracking volume.
We recommend a volume size of 5 m x 5 m.
You may find that lower cameras (1–3 meters high) provide better tracking than high, downward-facing cameras.
You can refine camera aiming later, using your Vicon software.
Caution
To avoid overexposure when a subject is close to the camera, do not mount the Vanguard cameras close to the Vicon IR lights.
Your Vicon Vanguard camera has one mounting point on the back of the camera. This mounting point has a ¼" 20 UNC threaded hole, which matches the thread found on most tripods and wall-mount fixing screws.
Ensure the camera is rigidly mounted by clamping it securely to a rail or mounting it on a tripod. For both options, you must attach the camera to a mounting head.
