Import and visualize reference data
You can import reference (normative) data as a Microsoft Excel file and add it to a report. To import data formatted as a CSV file, first convert the file to Excel.
For information on how to format your Excel file to display correctly in Nexus Insight, see Excel format for reference data. If you want to include EMG reference data in the current report (as envelope reference data or as activation bars, as shown in the following image), ensure you’ve also completed the preparations described in Visualize EMG reference data.
You can select reference data when you create a new report (see Step 8 of Create a Nexus Insight report) or add it to an existing report as follows.
To add reference data to a report:
In Windows File Explorer, go to the following folder:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Vicon\NexusInsightIn this folder, create a new subfolder called References.
Place the reference data file in the References folder that you created in the previous step.
Restart Nexus Insight.
Open the report to which you want to add the reference data.
At the top right of the screen, select Edit and in the Edit report dialog, select the reference data file.
When you’ve finished making any other changes to the report, click Save.
